2011 – Our 20th Anniversary Year!
I never would have believed it! 20 years ago at a birthday party, it was jokingly suggested to open a Metaphysical Bookstore. In only 3 short weeks later Crystal Heart Books was born. At the time, I had little concept of the role Crystal Heart could or would take on in the spiritual community. I still today am humbled and amazed on a daily basis, by the infinite presence of spirit in all our lives.
Recently someone sent me a message and asked me if I would look back over the past 20 years and answer some questions:
Mistakes? – I made a few (hundred). I learned from most, still learn from many, make less of them, they tend to be smaller in magnitude. ( average about 4.2 on the Richter scale.)
Regrets? Some. The most difficult has been challenges in communicating with some individuals, and not understand how to best empower others.
Help? Came in every way imaginable: Countless guides, messengers, employees, co-creators and spiritualists. Some were involved for years, others for just a matter of seconds. All with an incredible impact.
What was the most important thing I have learned? This question is overwhelming to me. Without writing a spiritual encyclopedia, (which would still only house what little my brain could remember, my heart could feel, and my soul is still trying to comprehend), I would say in simple terms that life in all it’s glorious forms, is precious and worthy of celebrating daily. That the human spirit can overcome great adversity. That we are foremost responsible for ourselves, yet entrusted to be compassionate towards all living things, including mother earth. That we all have an ability to connect and become one with our higher power, regardless of our belief systems.
Have you had fun along the way?
A Blast! Never a dull moment! Sometimes we just shake our heads. The most fun has been the people, sometimes they can just floor you!
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be?
Nothing! Every last bit of it happened for a reason. Some of it I may never understand, some I am not proud of, however I am confident that if it did not happen the way it did, the outcome would be totally different. So I choose to find the good in all of it, and I am sure we will all continue to learn and grow from it.
How do you feel about your psychic work, abilities and the people you have been able to work with over the years?
“I wish to thank all of the gracious customers and clients for their countless testimonials, cards, letters, phone calls, and beautiful affirmations over the years. I am humbled by your comments, and feel blessed and honored to be entrusted with some of the most personal aspects of your lives. You have all helped me to be a better person, to grow spiritually, and continue to inspire me to be a grateful messenger”. I thank spirit every day for the incredible gift bestowed upon me, I do not accept it lightly, and work hard to stay worthy of such responsibilities.
In Gratitude,
Norman Baldwin
