"Wellness Fairs"

VENDOR INFORMATION

WHEN:

As a vendor, you have the opportunity to participate in our fairs help every second full weekend of the month. Check our event calendar by clicking here. 11 am - 5 pm Sunday.

WHERE:

The Wellness Community has enough space for 6 - 8 vendors each month. The fair provides great exposure to potential clients where visitors are able to have an intimate interaction with you that is much more accessible than at the larger venues that come through town once or twice a year.

THE DETAILS:

There are two types of participants: vendors conducting retail sales of goods and practitioners providing services.

Please identify yourself as a vendor or a practitioner when communicating with the Wellness Community.

Vendors: If you are selling goods, you will be charged a table fee which is currently, $25 for one day.

You are responsible for all of your own transactions as well as the safety and condition of your merchandise throughout the fair.

Practitioners: The Wellness Community collects and manages the money to allow credit card transaction processing as a service to the customer and the vendor/practitioner.

Practitioners: We have consistent rates for service providers so that it is clear and simple for the customers. The rates are as follows:

15 min. = $25
30 min. = $45
45 min. = $60
60 min. = $75

Practitioners: Each practitioner will decide on the which session lengths are appropriate for the service they provide and report this information on their application form.

Practitioners: There is a 70/30 percentage split after the 4% processing fee for credit card transactions has been deducted. The practitioners get 70% and the Wellness Center gets 30% of each transaction after the 4% credit card processing fee has been deducted.

Practitioners: For cash transactions there is a 70/30 split without a processing fee.

Practitioners: The Wellness Community will provide a cashier/scheduler for all of the fair practitioners. Each practitioner will receive a ticket from their customer filled out by the cashier/scheduler with the scheduled appointment time, length of session, and payment amount.

You must schedule your lunch time with our cashier prior to the beginning of the fair. Check in with the cashier/scheduler when you take a break during the fair.

Practitioners: Hand in your tickets to the cashier at the end of the day in order to receive your payout.

You will receive your payout in person or by a Pay Pal transfer of funds.

Practitioners & Vendors:We only provide a card table and two chairs upon request. Bring your own decoration and table coverings. Because of fire code requirements, we respectfully ask that there be:

NO OPEN FLAMES
NO SCENTED CANDLES (PLEASE)

If you have a candle, it must be completely surrounded in glass.

Practitioners & Vendors: Please prepare a description of your service or products for promotional purposes. The description should only be 2-3 sentences.

We request that we receive this information no less than 10 business days prior to the fair.

Practitioners & Vendors: If you would like to provide a free lecture/presentation, please provide a presentation title, a 2 sentence description, and an estimated duration time.

Practitioners & Vendors: Arrive 90 minutes early to setup your table, get settled, and review the procedures for collecting money, scheduling sessions, and getting paid.

*** There is a mandatory breifing 1 hour before the fair. Please plan on attending.

Each vendor selected will have the opportunity to provide a FREE lecture for the public during the fair. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, simply ask for a time slot when you make your request for a table at the fair.

Recommendations:

_ Bring a table covering
_ Decide on a lunch time and let us know what it is
_ Prepare a speech so customers may get to know you
_ Bring and divination tools, forms, etc. you may need to perform your service
_ Bring water in a bottle
_ Tell all of your friends, family, and customers where you will be for the weekend and how to find you (this website is a great resource for that)
_ Come to the Open House the weekend before to get a feel for the place
_ MANIFEST ABUNDANCE
_ AND HAVE FUN !!!!
